Special Places in Selsdon Wood

All of our woodlands and fields are lovely places to be but there are several areas of specific interest which have seen developments over many years. 

There are also many features that have been added or refurbished by the FSW. Four of these are listed below.

We have a Bird Feeding Station in the Jubilee Plantation - created in 2022 in memory of a key member of FSW, David Malins (shown above).

We have a Butterfly Bank in the car park field, Created in 2022 by an organisation called Brilliant Butterflies.

We have a lovely pool in Linden Glade, renovated in 2023/4.

Throughout the wood we have placed nesting boxes for birds and bats and in many places there are seats - many with dedications.
